The best 35mm film cameras ever made.

I took a few trips last summer, and ran through several rolls. The cameras were chosen in an offhand decision, but it was a correct one. The choice centered around the number 2. The Nikon F2 and the Leica M2 both wound up in the bag. Taking the best 35mm film cameras ever made with me was a perfect choice.

Here are some images from the trip:

Nice video. Sorry to have missed you in PDX. Though I don’t know if I could have been seen with you as I don’t own a Nikon or Leica. You’d have to put up with my lowly Minoltas and Olympuses! (Olympi?)

Oh yeah, I do like that cinema film you were using, but I also really like the shot on Ultramax. I don’t share your disdain for Kodak’s consumer-grade color stocks.

I think the plural of Olympus is Olympuseses. And I’m sorry I missed you, too. Next time up that way I should have more lead time to reach out.

I don’t really dislike Ultramax, but I don’t think I’ll be buying it anymore. Getting 72 shots of Vision 3 for the price of 32 Ultramax kind of wins the day. I wish Portra would come down some, but I’m not holding my breath.
